Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold was listed on the team's first injury report of the week, which was made public on Wednesday following their low-scoring game against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.
Darnold was deemed limited on Wednesday due to a right hand injury he suffered against Jacksonville. However, his injury condition was only an estimate because Wednesday's practice was merely a walkthrough.
Having said that, it's also important to note that the 27-year-old's injury is to his throwing right hand, raising concerns that it might be serious going into the game against the Tennessee Titans in Week 11.
He will probably have to carry an injury designation into the weekend if he doesn't increase his practice volume on Thursday or Friday.

As Minnesota looks to improve its mark to 8-2 this season, fantasy managers and Vikings supporters can continue to hope that Sam Darnold's injury proves to be nothing too serious and that he can play against the Titans on Sunday.
Running back Aaron Jones (ribs), linebacker Gabe Murphy (knee), tight end Josh Oliver (wrist/hand), offensive tackle Cam Robinson (foot), and linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel (hip) were also included on the Vikings' injury report on Wednesday as limited practice participants.
Sam Darnold injury update: What happened to the Vikings QB?
Sam Darnold suffered a right-hand injury last Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Alec Lewis of The Athletic.
The veteran quarterback sustained the injury after attempting a tackle on Jaguars defender Darnell Savage following his third interception of the game. The incident occurred on the first drive of the second half, but Darnold played every offensive snap for the club and missed no time as a result.
There is hope that Darnold's injury is not severe and that he won't have to miss any games because he stayed in the game last week after suffering it. He was limited on Wednesday, but it's still crucial to monitor his practice volume for the rest of the week.
The former first-round pick's last few performances raised concerns prior to that Week 10 game, and his poor performance against the Jaguars did nothing to allay those worries.
In the first four games of the season, Darnold completed 68.9 percent of his throws and recorded 11 touchdowns to just three interceptions. Since then, he has thrown six touchdowns to seven interceptions in five outings, and his completion percentage has slightly decreased to 68.4.
Sam Darnold will be eager to get past his right hand injury problems this week in order to have another opportunity to bounce back to his early-season form against the Tennessee Titans.
