The Tennessee Titans' signing of Calvin Ridley looks like a complicated matter. After two good weeks to start the season, the wide receiver has just 14 yards on 14 targets and two receptions in the past three games. This is certainly not what they envisioned when paying $24 million per year.
With so many poor performances in sequence, a struggling Tennessee Titans team and Ridley publicly complaining about his lack of receptions, fantasy owners are concerned that this could turn into a mess for their teams. It's imperative to proceed with caution from now on.
Should I drop Calvin Ridley for Week 7 fantasy football?

Managers who can fit their teams without Ridley would be wise to do so. Obviously, if you have him on the roster and there are no options due to the bye weeks, you'll have to start him, but he should never be your primary option for this week.

The Titans are struggling because their quarterback, Will Levis, is playing below average. He has five touchdowns, seven interceptions and a 66.4% completion rate. There are lots of fans and analysts calling for him to lose the starting job, and he has thrown an interception every game this season.
Ridley has had 14 targets but just two receptions in the past three games - you can blame this on the quarterback. One positive hope for fantasy managers is that, considering his public complaints about his numbers, it's likely he'll once again earn a big number of targets.
But the safe thing to do in Week 7 is just keep him out of your starting lineup. You should still keep him on the roster, because nobody knows what could happen from now on - even if Levis is demoted to the bench. But proceed with extreme caution here.
Calvin Ridley's fantasy outlook for the rest of 2024 season
The trio of wide receivers with Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins and Tyler Boyd was supposed to be a strength for this team. But with Levis struggling badly, no one is playing pretty well. Hopkins leads the team with 175 receiving yards - far from a good number.
Patience is ending for fantasy managers, but keeping him on the roster for another two to three weeks could bear fruits. If Calvin Ridley stays with an awful production, then just let it go.
