Diontae Johnson was acquired by the Baltimore Ravens four weeks ago ahead of the NFL trade deadline. He was having a solid fantasy football season for the Carolina Panthers this year, so a move to a much better offense appeared to add to his overall upside. It hasn't worked out that way as Johnson has been basically irrelevant in four games with the Ravens.
The veteran has totaled just 6 yards since going to Baltimore and his fantasy value has completely tanked. While some managers may still want to wait and see if he can bounce back, he is a legitimate outright drop candidate from fantasy rosters ahead of Week 13 of the 2024 season.

The Baltimore Ravens' acquisition of Diontae Johnson was intended to give Lamar Jackson another reliable wide receiver to join Zay Flowers. This made him an exciting asset in fantasy football, especially considering he was leaving one of the worst offenses in the NFL and joining one of the best units.
Johnson has failed to make any impact at all for his new team, totaling just one reception on five targets for 6 yards across his four games with the Ravens. He has also played in less than 20% of the offensive snaps, so he has become an afterthought in their offensive gameplan.
The uninspiring volume and even worse overall production has made Johnson a drop candidate from fantasy rosters. He has shown no signs of establishing a significant enough role in their offense to make him a valubale bench stash. Managers would be wise to move on from him in Week 13 for a different option with more upside.
Diontae Johnson fantasy outlook for rest of 2024 season
In his first game with the Ravens, Johnson played in 30% of the offensive snaps but didn't record a target. Many believed this was simply him adjusting to his new offensive system, but he has yet to make any sort of impact in Baltimore. In fact, in two of his three games since then, he has played in less than 10% of the offensive snaps and failed to record a single reception.
Johnson's collapse has been shocking after finishing among the top 12 weekly wide receivers in three of his last five games with the Panthers prior to being traded. The Ravens have stuck with Rashod Bateman as their WR2 and have barely even put Johnson on the field. This gives little hope to fantasy managers that he will bounce back.
