Dontayvion Wicks is just one part of the Green Bay Packers' monstrous receiving core, which also includes three more top wide receivers and one of the best tight-end duos in football. He has been fairly productive this season, with 124 yards and three touchdowns from ten catches.
But compared to the stats Jayden Reed (414 and two from 21) and Tucker Kraft (218 and three from 16) have been creating, he suddenly looks less impressive.
So that begs the question: Should he be excluded from a fantasy football team in Week 6?

Dontayvion Wicks Week 6 fantasy football projection: Should he be dropped?
The Packers have been running their receiving corps in various player combinations, whether it be 3 WR-1 TE or 2 WR-2 TE. Wicks has started just a single game, but he has outshone Christian Watson with those stats above.
After a rather inconsistent outing against the divisional rival Minnesota Vikings, where he had two touchdowns but also two drops, he was limited at the Rams, catching only two passes for 20 yards. However, the limited numbers ultimately did not matter, as the team won 24-19.
Even better news for him comes in the form of his next opponents: the Arizona Cardinals, who have only one defender worth drafting: safety Budda Baker. The rest of the secondary figures will be overpowered by Matt LaFleur and Adam Stenavich's offensive juggernaut. That makes him someone to keep on this week's fantasy football team, even in a 12th-man role.
Dontayvion Wicks' fantasy projection for the rest of the 2024 season
The Packers, as said before, have a monstrously stacked receiving corps. The competition to establish oneself as a main starter is intense, and Dontayvion Wicks is a few steps behind the curve.
As of now, Jayden Reed is firmly entrenched as the WR1, which is quite a surprise to those expecting one of Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs to maintain that position. That leaves WR2, where he trails Doubs but leads Watson.
Suppose he can surpass his current production and produce very large numbers. In that case, he can convince fantasy players to make him a starting option besides more esteemed names like divisional peers Amon-Ra St. Brown and Justin Jefferson.
