The veteran has always flashed elite upside whenever he has been healthy, but that has always been an issue for Dobbins. It caught up with him again as he was placed on the injured reserve list last week with another knee injury. This makes him a potential drop candidate from fantasy rosters despite his impressive season.

J.K. Dobbins was placed on the injured reserve list before the Week 13 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. He isn't eligible to return until Week 17 against the New England Patriots. The issue is that most leagues' fantasy playoffs begin next week, so Dobbins may not be able to play again during this fantasy season.

Managers with an available IR spot should use it on Dobbins, as he's proven elite when healthy for the Chargers. Those without an IR spot should consider dropping him to deepen their bench for the playoffs, especially in traditional league formats where the championship is played in Week 17.
