Tyreek Hill has been a shell of his 2023 fantasy football self. Of course, it isn't all his fault as the turnstile the Miami Dolphins have had at quarterback are Exhibits One, Two, and Three. However, with a change coming once again, managers are wondering whether they should go all-in on the Dolphins wide receiver.

Here's a look at the reigning fantasy football GOAT and whether he is a mirage in the desert or a true oasis of points.

Should you add Tyreek Hill in Week 8?

Hill most likely isn't available in your fantasy league on the waiver wire. If he is, he should be snatched immediately. With Tua Tagovailoa potentially set to return on Sunday, Hill's value is set to balloon.

However, the bigger question is whether you should trade for him now. In two weeks, the answer will be clear, but taking the plunge now offers the opportunity of getting a WR1 for a WR3, or a cheaper cost. If you have an extra player on the bench worth parting ways with that fits what your trade partner needs, you should make the move now.

According to Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer, Hill is expected to earn a whopping 19 points. The cat might be out of the bag in most leagues, but it might be worth reaching out to Hill.

The key to Tyreek Hill's value is Tua Tagovailoa. If the QB can remain healthy, his value will skyrocket into a set-and-forget WR. However, if Tagovailoa gets injured again, his value will drop like a rock.

It's already most likely too late for Hill to get back into the top three this season from a cumulative points standpoint, but he can still produce like the best WR in the league on a week-to-week basis.

According to CBS Sports, Tagovailoa has already openly declined to use a guardian cap to protect himself, so managers can expect a seemingly heightened injury risk for him for the remainder of the season. For those who have held onto him, now is the time to play Hill as at least a flex. But if the trade price for him is high, tread lightly.
