Titans' Will Levis has been confirmed as the starting quarterback for Week 10 against the Chargers and that gives fantasy football managers an intriguing choice for their teams. On the one hand, he is coming back from injury. On the other hand, he is fully fit and rested, which is a rare commodity in the middle of the season.
Should I start Will Levis in Week 10 fantasy football?
The Titans face the Chargers in Week 10. Los Angeles is allowing 303.8 yards of total offense per game, which is the eighth-best in the league. 195.9 passing yards per match also ranks them in the top half of the defensive standings.

They are even better in the red zone, allowing just 12.6 points per game, which is the best in the NFL this season. Will Levis only has five touchdown passes this year and will be going up against a top defense. Therefore, fantasy football managers might not find great value in starting him.

If we compare him to other quarterbacks, that becomes clear. For example, Drake Maye has six touchdowns and four interceptions this year, which are similar numbers to the Titans' starter. When we analyze them using Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer tool, we get the following results.

We see that Maye, despite being a rookie, is expected to get more yards as Levis struggles. The Patriots quarterback is also expected to have the same chance of throwing a touchdown, but his Titans counterpart has a higher probability of being intercepted. All of this indicates that fantasy football managers might have better choices in Week 10 than Will Levis.
Will Levis fantasy outlook for rest of 2024 season
Before injury ruled him out in October, there were murmurs that Will Levis might not be the best starter for the Titans. Right from the opening week of the season, when Tennessee lost to Chicago despite the Bears having a non-functional offense, the spotlight has been on the quarterback's turnovers.
There have been multiple turnovers both on the ground and in the air. Coming into this game he has seven interceptions in five games this season and just five touchdowns. Will Levis has not had a single game where he has not been picked off.
One factor that might work in his favor, though, is that he is playing for his future in the league during the second half of the 2024 season. Nobody expects the Titans to make the playoffs, including themselves as they have let star performers like DeAndre Hopkins go to other teams.
If Levis can show that he can lead the team to a decent record without top offensive weapons, that will be a huge feather in his cap. That increases his likelihood of playing well for the rest of the year.
However, looking at the teams Tennessee has to play this year, it will not be easy. They are yet to play the Texans, the AFC South leaders, in 2024. Except for their divisional matchups against the Jaguars (twice) and the Colts, all their games are against teams that are in the postseason mix.
After facing the Chargers in Week 10, they face the Vikings, Commanders, and Bengals from outside their division. All of these matchups will be tough for Will Levis to win. Therefore, while there is a consideration that he could be inspired going forward because of the circumstances he finds himself in, it is more likely that the Titans quarterback will not bring much value to fantasy football managers.
