Stefon Diggs

Stefon Diggs has built an impressive name for himself in a relatively short time span. After playing college football at Maryland, Diggs was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. A relative no-name addition, Diggs has turned the trajectory of his career. In his rookie season itself, Diggs became a full-time starter for the Vikings, forming a ridiculously efficient partnership with Adam Thielen. Diggs became famous after completing the Minneapolis Miracle catch during the 2017-18 playoffs. However, his itch for a championship remained unfounded in Minnesota.

Even though he signed a five-year contract extension with the Vikings following the 2018 playoffs, the Maryland recruit found his way to Buffalo in 2020. With Josh Allen, the duo formed a scary sight for the opposition. He quickly became the fastest receiver to 100 catches and also broke Eric Moulds’ record for most receiving yards in a season for the Bills. In 2020, Stefon was the NFL leader among receivers with 127 receptions for 1,535 yards. Since joining Buffalo, Diggs has been to four straight Pro Bowls. In April 2024, Diggs was traded to the Houston Texans where he will not join a high-flying offensive unit led by the 2023 NFL Rookie of the Year winner C.J. Stroud in his pursuit for a Super Bowl ring.

While he is among the older crop when it comes to premier receiving threats, Diggs has continued to impress and even earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2022.
