The Houston Texans selected wide receiver Stefon Diggs, originally selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2015 NFL Draft. He became a starter midway through his rookie season and signed a four-year deal with Minnesota. The veteran club traded him in 2020 to go to the Buffalo Bills where he played for another four years before being traded once again in 2024 to the Houston Texans.

Diggs went to Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Maryland. As a junior in 2010, he caught 810 yards with 23 touchdowns and finished second in the Gatorade Maryland Player of the Year competition. Diggs played football and ran track in his junior days. He played as a sprinter in track and field events, having timed some impressive records. During his senior season, he was the U.S. Army All-American Junior Combine and played at their Bowl. Following which he went to the University of Maryland in 2012-2014 and recorded a total of 150 receptions for 2,227 yards and 14 touchdowns, while 187 carries for 187 rushing yards.
