Stefon Diggs is an American football wide receiver for the Houston Texans as of the 2024 NFL season. The Minnesota Vikings selected him as the 146th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He was born on November 28, 1993, in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He went to the Our Lady of Good Counsel High School and finished second place at the Gatorade Maryland Player of the Year in 2010, playing football and track. He was named an All-County selection by the Montgomery Gazette and a first-team All-Metro wide receiver by The Washington Post. After his senior year, he was asked to participate in the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl and was voted the 2011 MVP of the U.S. Army All-American Junior Combine.

The five-star recruit, Diggs, opted for the University of Maryland in 2012, and in three seasons, he recorded a total of 150 receptions for 2,227 yards and 14 touchdowns according to Sports Reference. He also earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors and was an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2014.

As a rookie with the Vikings, he earned a spot on the 2015 PFWA All-Rookie Team, concluding his rookie season with 52 receptions for 720 yards and scoring four touchdowns. According to Pro Football Reference, he amassed 365 receptions for 4,623 receiving yards and 30 touchdowns.
