How many Super Bowls has Chris Jones won
Chris Jones

Anyone who follows American football and the Kansas City Chiefs in particular will know all about Chris Jones. He is the leader of the Chiefs' defense, an eight-year veteran, and one of the biggest names in the NFL. Jones is the defensive tackle for the Chiefs who stands 6 feet 6 inches and weighs approximately 310 lb. Despite his size, he knows very well how to get after the opposition’s quarterback.

The 30-year-old was born in a not-so-well-to-do neighborhood of Houston, Missouri. Living the rough and tough life, Jones became a terror on the field while remaining a likable and gentler person off of it. Coming out of Houston High School, the five-time Pro Bowler was already rated as a five-star recruit and one of the top players in his class. Continuing to improve during his time at Mississippi State University, Jones entered the NFL Draft after his junior year.

As for his gameplay in the NFL, the Chiefs star has had a huge impact on the team leading from the front. When he is not the one disrupting and throwing off his opponents, he is usually making way for his teammates by drawing double teams. An excellent run defender that he is, Jones is even more dominant as a pass rusher. One can easily make the case for him being in the top 10 amongst the best pass rushers in the league today. These are the qualities that have enabled him to help the Chiefs in their pursuit of Super Bowl glory.

After being a big impact player, making key plays on the defense time and again, Jones has been quite influential for the team in their recent success. As a result of his stellar performances, the Chiefs have rewarded him with a huge new contract for five years worth $158,750,000 from March 2024.

Chris Jones Super Bowl Wins

After being victorious in Super Bowls LIV, LVII, and LVIII it means that Jones’ ring collection now stands at 3. As a member of the Kansas City Chiefs since 2016, Jones has been an integral part of their Super Bowl-winning triumphs.

The Chiefs lifted their second Lombardi Trophy in franchise history after nearly 50 years in 2020 when they played the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV. Leading up to the big game, Jones had a relatively decent regular season with 9 sacks and 40 combined tackles from 13 games, 4 pass deflections, a forced fumble, as well as a fumble recovery.

In Super Bowl LIV, Jones had one tackle and three pass deflections. However, these stats don’t do justice to the type of player he is because more often than not he is limited due to opponents double-teaming him.

Jones would return to the big game with the Chiefs once again in Super Bowl LVII, this time taking on the Philadelphia Eagles. The 2022 NFL season was his best regular season up to date leading up to the postseason with 44 combined tackles and 15.5 sacks. He also came up with two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

In Super Bowl LVII, Chris Jones had 3 combined tackles. However, once again he was effective in getting his teammates involved in plays by forcing the Eagles’ O-line to pay more attention to him freeing up opportunities for others.

Jones' latest win came in Super Bowl LVIII on February 11, 2024, as the Chiefs overcame the San Francisco 49ers once again.
