Who won between the Buccaneers and Chiefs on Monday night?
The last game of Week 9 of the NFL season was a massive one, as it pitted the Kansas City Chiefs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Despite a middling offensive performance, the defending Super Bowl champions have remained undefeated thanks to a monstrous defense orchestrated by Steve Spagnuolo and captained by Chris Jones.
Meanwhile, the Bucs were lining up for their second game without top wideouts Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (ankle, done for season). They also lost rookie Jalen McMillan to a hamstring injury before the game.

Buccaneers vs. Chiefs game summary
Both teams exchanged punts on their first drives of the game, before the Chiefs gained momentum thanks to Mecole Hardman's 30-yard return. That allowed them to enter field goal range quickly, with Harrison Butker converting the 40-yard attempt.
After that, however, the Buccaneers executed a masterful drive that lasted well into the second quarter and concluded with Kansas City native Rachaad White sprinting his way into the endzone for six:

The lead was not to last, however, as DeAndre Hopkins threaded the edge of the endzone for his first touchdown as a Chief:

The Buccaneers were forced to punt on their next drive. A forced fumble on Travis Kelce and subsequent recovery by Josh Hayes within the final minute of the first half also went for naught.
The Buccaneers began the second half strongly. Aided by a horse collar tackle penalty on Joshua Williams, they drove into their opponents’ territory and retook the lead via a touchdown pass to Cade Otton:
The Chiefs were forced to punt before allowing their opponents to go deep again and hit a field goal despite multiple penalties.

The game went level for the first time on the subsequent drive, as Patrick Mahomes found Samaje Perine for a touchdown. Initially, it looked to have come at a very great cost, as he landed awkwardly on his left foot during the throw.

However, he returned after a Buccaneers punt to orchestrate a drive that ended in another Hopkins touchdown. The Buccaneers finally had a clean fifth drive, tying the game via a touchdown to Ryan Miller. They then forced a punt to end regulation.
To begin overtime, the Chiefs elected to receive. The decision paid off, as they marched down the length of the field and won the game via a powerful Kareem Hunt charge into the endzone.
