The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are in the playoffs for the fifth consecutive season, will face the Washington Commanders in the Wild Card Round on Sunday.
In their first game of the season, the Bucs defeated the Commanders 37–20, but since then, both teams have experienced significant changes.
There is every indication that this contest, which is set to be played at Raymond James Stadium, will be evenly matched and might go right down to the last seconds.

Buccaneers injury report for wild-card round game vs. Commanders
Wide receiver Sterling Shepard (foot), defensive lineman William Gholston (knee), defensive lineman Logan Hall (groin), safety Mike Edwards (quadriceps) and left tackle Tristan Wirfs (quadriceps) were all limited in practice Thursday for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
However, safety Antoine Winfield Jr. (knee) was labeled as a full participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, which is encouraging because it means he will likely get a chance to play Sunday.
After being deemed limited on Wednesday due to a knee ailment, TE Cade Otton participated fully in practice on Thursday.
Tight end Devin Culp (ribs), linebacker Lavonte David (knee), defensive back Josh Hayes (ribs), cornerback Troy Hill (knee/foot), running back Bucky Irving (shoulder/shin), wide receiver Jalen McMillan (finger) and safety Tykee Smith are the other players who had full practices on Thursday.
Wide receiver Mike Evans has not been a full participant in any practice this week, but he's not dealing with any injury. The veteran was a limited participant on Wednesday and was DNP on Thursday as the team wanted him to get rested before Sunday's game.
Antoine Winfield Jr.’s injury update
Antoine Winfield has only appeared in nine of Tampa Bay's games this season due to injuries.
He missed the rest of the regular season after suffering a knee sprain in a Week 14 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Winfield will now look to return to the field in the first round of the playoffs after completing two full practices on Wednesday and Thursday.
Chris Godwin injury update
Wide receiver Chris Godwin missed the rest of the regular season after suffering a bad ankle injury against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7. Prior to the injury, he was enjoying a strong season with 50 receptions for 576 yards and five touchdowns.
Although there was initial optimism that the standout wide receiver would make a comeback for the playoffs, head coach Todd Bowles announced that we won't see Godwin on the field again this year, regardless of how far the Bucs advance.
