Drake London and Tee Higgins - they share one trait: both of them wear the No. 5. But that is where the similarities end.
One has already become his team's WR1, controlling games like no other, leading his group in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. The other has mostly sat behind the shadow of a newer and more prolific teammate, but is nevertheless an important presence on a revamped squad.
So, which of these men is a better fantasy investment?

Is Drake London a good fantasy pick in Week 3?
The Atlanta Falcons in the 21st century have been known for two prolific wideouts: Roddy White and Julio Jones. Drake London, despite having yet to break a thousand yards, has the potential to emutate them.
His first two season were marred by poor quarterback play, but the arrival of Kirk Cousins has been expected to alleviate that. Heading into Week 3, he sits at WR15 with eight catches for 69 yards and a touchdown.
But keeping up such productivity can be a challenge against the Kansas City Chiefs. Last season, their secondary bannered one of the league's top defensive teams, more than making up for the offense's struggles. Now despite, the loss of L'Jarius Sneed, they still have a good duo of Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson.
Is Tee Higgins a good fantasy pick in Week 3?
Meanwhile, WR22 Tee Higgins finds himself in an unenviable position - the Cincinnati Bengals are 0-2 entering their game against the Washington Commanders.
He has been part of a bad start before - when he was a rookie, the team had two losses and a draw in their first three games. But what makes this different are the expectations: rebuild then vs. contention now.
Luckily for him, the Commanders' secondary has proved rather disappointing. Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they allowed four receiving touchdowns (two from Mike Evans and one each from Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan). Then against the New York Giants, they allowed two, with only kicker Austin Seibert bailing them out with seven field goals (the team's entire scoring output).
That should give Higgins plenty of receiving and scoring opportunities, but will it be enough to solidify him as a starter?
Tee Higgins or Drake London: Whom should I start in Week 3?
The Start/Sit Optimizer has predicted a very close race, but ultimately it is Drake London winning this matchup to become the better choice as fantasy starter.
Secondary strength of the opposition notwithstanding, he has the tools to make an impact in tomorrow's primetime game against top-tier opposition. As for Tee Higgins, he and Ja'Marr Chase may be dominant this week and the next (vs. the Carolina Panthers); but their first intradivisional meeting vs. the Baltimore Ravens will be the first true test of their 2024 fantasy value.
