Tee Higgins and the Cincinnati Bengals (6-8) will take the field again on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns to try to get closer to the .500 mark and keep their playoff hopes alive ahead of the final two weeks of the season. Higgins is having a terrific season in Cincinnati, but the defense shortcomings have hurt the team's chances to have a better record.
Higgins could put the Bengals in a complex position, too, after being listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice session. This could be a serious loss for the Bengals ahead of a crucial game against a divisional rival.
Tee Higgins injury update
Cincinnati Bengals reporter Ben Baby shared on Thursday that Tee Higgins wasn't present during the open portion of practice. Higgins was rested on Wednesday, even though he's listed with a knee ailment. His absence on Thursday is not a good sign for the Bengals, more so considering the veteran wide receiver has missed a couple of games due to injury this season.

Friday might be the last opportunity Higgins will have to show coaches that he's fit to play on Sunday. They are in a hot race to try to make it to the NFL playoffs and another win could put them closer to that goal. The Browns have been eliminated from playoff contention, but given their rivalry with the Bengals, it wouldn't be a shock if they try to ruin Cincinnati's plans.
Tee Higgins is coming off a strong performance against the Tennessee Titans, as his team beat the AFC South squad 37-27 in Week 15. He caught five passes for 88 yards and one receiving touchdown. Higgins only caught six yards less than Ja'Marr Chase, who couldn't find the end zone in Week 15.
Tee Higgins has suffered several injuries this season
Tee Higgins missed the season opener against the New England Patriots and the Week 2 clash with the Chiefs, with the Bengals off a terrible 0-3 record to start the campaign.
Higgins missed three games midway through the season due to a quadriceps injury, but he's found a rhythm in recent games. Higgins has tallied 21 catches on 36 targets for 328 yards while finding the end zone in three of his last four games played.
The last time he faced the Browns, Higgins racked up four receptions for 82 yards and one receiving touchdown in a Week 7 win. If the Bengals keep adding wins, they might come to the final week with a serious chance to advance to the playoffs.
