Tee Higgins or KaVontae Turpin: Who should I start for Week 14 Fantasy Football?

The Dallas Cowboys will host the Cincinnati Bengals to round off Week 14's slate of games in a showdown that has major playoff implications for the latter. The Bengals are on the proverbial playoff bubble at the moment with the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts in the same boat, though the Dolphins and Colts have a better chance at sneaking into the playoffs.

In any case, the Bengals offense will need to be at the top of its game against this Dallas defense. So without further ado, here's a look at two WRs who could potentially have a lot to say on Monday night - Tee Higgins and KaVontae Turpin.

Tee Higgins fantasy outlook for Week 14

In all honesty, were it not for Higgins' injuries, he would routinely be in the conversation among the best WRs in the NFL today. Higgins has racked up at least 11 fantasy points for five straight games, trailing only the Texans' Nico Collins and Ja'Marr Chase in that aspect.

In Week 13's loss to the Steelers, Higgins hauled in 5 of his 10 targets for 69 yards and a touchdown as the Bengals slipped to a 44-38 defeat.

There's a lot to like about Higgins' fantasy outlook this week but it could just come down to the fact that playmakers make plays when the stakes are high. We know Joe Burrow can sling it. We know Higgins will be heavily involved. The only question is whether Dallas' defense can clamp him up, which appears unlikely.

KaVontae Turpin fantasy outlook for Week 14

Unfortunately, there's just not a lot to like about the state of this Cowboys offense. They did manage back-to-back wins over the Washington Commanders and the New York Giants, but is it sustainable?

In Week 13, KaVontae Turpin hauled in 4 of his 5 targets for 53 yards in a 27-20 win over the Giants. Those aren't numbers that are likely to tilt the scale. He led the team in receiving yards on Thanksgiving but given the fact that his targets have not nearly been consistent enough, it's difficult to rely on him to score some points tonight.
