Terry McLaurin is a professional American football player who plays in the National Football League as a wide receiver for the Washington Commanders. His professional career in the NFL began in the year 2019 when he was selected by the Washington Redskins in the NFL draft of 2019.

After being selected by the Washington Redskins McLaurin signed a deal with them for four years. In the 2019 season, McLaurin made his official NFL debut in a match against the Philadelphia Eagles and recorded five receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown. He finished his debut season with 58 receptions for 919 yards and seven touchdowns. McLaurin continued his brilliant performance in the upcoming seasons and in a match against the Arizona Cardinals in the 2020 season McLaurin recorded his first touchdown of the season. He continued his brilliant performance week after week and he finished the season with career-high stats where he had 1,118 yards and four touchdowns.

In 2022 McLaurin signed a new contract extension deal for three years with the Washington Commanders worth $71 million. In the opening match of the 2020 season against the Jacksonville Jaguars McLaurin recorded 58 receiving yards off two receptions and two touchdowns. McLaurin finished the season with career-altering stats where he recorded 77 receptions and five touchdowns and due to his brilliant performance throughout the season, he was named to his first Pro Bowl.

Terry McLaurin is 27 years old he was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 15, 1995. The young player first came into the NFL as a wide receiver for the Washington Redskins at the age of 22.

Before his journey in the NFL began McLaurin played college football with Ohio State Buckeyes. McLaurin played six games in his freshman year and recorded seven tackles and a fumble recovery. He continued to work on his skills and kept on improving throughout his sophomore and junior seasons. He finished his senior season with 35 receptions for 701 receiving yards and 11 receiving touchdowns. After a having successful senior year, McLaurin announced that he will be entering the NFL draft of 2019.
