The 2022 NFL Draft order #8-#1

#8 - Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons were hit and miss this season. With Calvin Ridley reportedly exploring his options, perhaps another offensive weapon for Matt Ryan in the first round could be sought after. The offensive line could also use a boost, so could their defense, which means Atlanta could go anywhere with the eighth pick.

#7 - New York Giants (via Chicago)

The Giants' have the second pick in the first round. Adding some talent to the offensive line would work wonders for Jones and Saquon Barkley as both their pass protection and run game left a lot to be desired.

#6 - Carolina Panthers

Carolina has struggled all season, with Sam Darnold and Christian McCaffrey injured for long spells, and the team needs another weapon on offense as defensively they were solid throughout the year.

#5 - New York Giants

Without a head coach and a GM, the Giants are a shambles right now. Daniel Jones is the guy going forward, so they may opt to put more pieces around him.

#4 - New York Jets

Zach Wilson showed promise at stages this year as the Jets finished with a 4-13 record. The pick is likely to be used to get Wilson another weapon on offense.

#3 - Houston Texans

Davis Mills coped well in his rookie season, and with the Deshaun Watson saga continuing to roll on, their draft hand could increase over the next few months.

#2 - Detriot Lions

Similar to the Jaguars, Dan Campbell and Jared Goff struggled all season and finished with a 3-13-1 record. The team did show some fight towards the end of the season and will need the No. 2 pick to be an instant hit.

#1 - Jacksonville Jaguars

It's been a disappointing season for Trevor Lawrence and his team. A 3-14 record does not make for great viewing. Add Urban Meyer's sacking to the mix, and all in all, it was a horror season for the Jags. With the first pick, they can go for any player they want, preferably an offensive linesman to protect Lawrencee.
