It seems as if Brady is favoring the Eagles to win.
"The Eagles, for example, they're playing to their strengths so well, so well. They're playing such good football. They're gonna be really tough to beat. Now the Chiefs you know, which plays are they making? You know, and they're spectacular team and when I watch Travis Kelce and Patrick play together, they have such a unique relationship."
Brady added that this year's Super Bowl features the two best teams and added that Philly had a dominant NFC Championship victory:
"You know, you go into these Super Bowls, and, you know, it's truly the two best teams this year, you know, the one seed in both side. They, you know, won pretty handily. You know, Philly did yesterday."
As of Tuesday, Jan. 31, the Eagles are currently the -1.5 point favorites to win the game. The odds and line will shift from now until the start of the game.
This will be the Chiefs' fifth Super Bowl appearance as they look to capture their third as the Eagles will be appearing in their fourth Super Bowl, looking to capture their second.
Tom Brady has played against both the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl
Tom Brady has some good insight and background info regarding the two teams in the Super Bowl.
He's gone against both teams in the Super Bowl within the past five years. He fell to the Eagles in 2018, 41-33 when he was a member of the New England Patriots.
In his first season with the Buccaneers, he faced Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in 2021 and came out on top with a dominant 31-9 victory, winning his seventh Super Bowl.
Of course, Tom Brady wishes he could compete in the Super Bowl this year, but he'll be watching from home as he ponders his next move in 2023.
