T.J. Edwards is an American football linebacker who plays for the Chicago Bears. Edwards redshirted as a freshman at Wisconsin in 2014. By 2015, he had earned a starting spot as an inside linebacker, ending his redshirt freshman year with 84 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and one forced fumble. In 2015, he was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week and Freshman All-American by the Football Writers Association of America.

Edwards was undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft but signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent. He had an early impact, appearing in all 16 games during his first season. In 2021, Edwards was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after blocking a punt against the Carolina Panthers. That same year, he signed a one-year contract extension with the Eagles.

On March 15, 2023, he signed a three-year contract worth $19.5 million with his hometown team, the Chicago Bears. In his debut with the Bears against the Green Bay Packers, he led the club with 14 tackles, demonstrating his continued defensive abilities.
