Todd Gurley is a professional American footballer who used to play as a running back in the National Football League. His professional career began in the year 2015 when he was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the first round of the NFL draft of 2015.

In 2015 Todd Gurley made his official NFL debut in a match against the Pittsburgh Steelers where in the match he recorded six rushes for nine yards. In a match against the Cleveland Browns Gurley recorded the first touchdown of his NFL career. Gurley continued his brilliant performance throughout the and he finished the following season of 2015 with 1,106 rushing yards and ten touchdowns. Due to his outstanding performance in the entire season, he was selected for his first Pro Bowl and he was also ranked 22nd by his team members in the list of top players of NFL 2016. Gurley in 2020 signed a new deal for one year with the Atlanta Falcons of worth $5.5 million. He made his debut with the Falcons in a match against the Seattle Seahawks and in the following match, he recorded his first rushing touchdown as a Falcon. He continued his excellent performance for the Falcons week after week and finished the following season of 2020 with 195 carries for 678 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns with 25 receptions for 164 receiving yards. Gurley did not play in the 2021 season and in 2022 he in an interview said that he is done playing professional football.

He finished his freshman year in 2012 when he rushed for 1,385 yards on 222 carries with 17 rushing touchdowns. Gurley continued his brilliant performance throughout his college career and he finished his junior season with 123 carries for 911 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns. After a successful junior year, Gurley announced that he would not be playing in his senior year and would enter the upcoming NFL draft of 2015.
