Tom Brady has a bit more free time on his hands as he retired for the second time this offseason. With so many opportunities available for the seven-time Super Bowl-winner, one might be hitting the stage doing some comedy. Comedian Jeff Dunham offered Brady the opportunity to join him on tour as his opening act.

Dunham told him to think big and that he'd help the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star hone his act.

Dunham said:

"I'm inviting right now this is my open invitation to Tom Brady to practice his new profession as a stand-up comedian as my opening act. Tom, I'm telling you, don't start at comedy clubs, Start in something big, I have all kinds of shows ready for you to be the opening act. We will help you with the comedy. We will help you with the material.

"You can come do anything you want. You open for me, you can do five minutes you can do 20 minutes. The audiences will love you and again, don't start at a tiny Comedy Club. You're the big guy, you're the GOAT. Start on top. 10,000 people in audience."

The comedian added:

"You're the goat of your profession and I, in my profession, can make a goat talk that's all I'm saying."

As reported by TMZ, recent reports of Tom Brady wanting to enter the comedy world are false. However, the three-time NFL MVP is in discussions with Netflix to be the focal point of a comedy roast special.

Tom Brady is no stranger to being funny on both TV and in movies

In 2005, the former Patriots quarterback hosted SNL after winning his third Super Bowl with the team. He showed off his comedic chops in the episode, including trying to win a prize at a carnival.

Tom Brady also made a cameo appearance a decade after his SNL stint in the 2015 film "Ted 2" starring Mark Wahlberg and Seth McFarlane. In the cameo, Wahlberg and Ted sneak into Brady’s house before the quarterback catches them.

Nonetheless, we’ll see if Brady takes up Dunham’s offer as it could be a seamless transition for the future Hall of Famer.
