Tom Brady has seven Super Bowl wins to his name. The recently retired QB has built his reputation over the years, earning the GOAT title. However, he has never failed to thank two people who made this possible: his parents, Galynn and Tom Brady Sr.

Brady's mother, who has always been around to support her son, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016. The player in turn, made sure to dedicate his 2017 Super Bowl win against the Atlanta Falcons to his mother.

As far as Brady was concerned, his mother's health was much more important. He ended up focusing on his mother after the game, referring to Galynn as his 'everything'.

Brady said:

"She's my everything, while speaking to Westwood One's Jim Gray. "I just love her so much."

Galynn, of course, was on cloud nine with her son winning another title and said:

"I'm overwhelmed! I was just praying. All I did was pray, the whole game, just pray."

Even the New England Patriots' owner Robert Kraft was moved.

"I spoke to him in the locker room before the game, and I said, we’ve got to win this one from your mom. I know how important his mom is, and she’s been going through chemotherapy and radiation, and this is the first game she’s come to. She came here."

2017 was an emotional year for Tom Brady and his family

Usually, Brady's parents were a common sight at their son's games. However, with Galynn dealing with cancer and undergoing treatment for the same, the couple only attended one regular season game to watch Brady.

However, Galynn showed up for the Super Bowl. During an interview, Tom Brady Sr. spoke about their frustration, which also affected Brady.

His mother, of course, just wanted to be there for her son. Galynn said:

“I just wanted to be there for Tommy, I wanted to be with our family. Everybody was going to the Super Bowl, and I didn’t want to miss that.”

Despite an exceptionally tough year, Galynn ended up making it for the big game. Brady reflected on the same and was glad that she was able to see such an exciting game.

Fortunately, after the Super Bowl LI win, Galynn was announced to be cancer-free. Kraft even gifted her a championship ring of her own.
