Tom Brady is unquestionably the greatest quarterback the NFL has ever seen. In a career that has spanned more than two decades, he has won seven Super Bowls, more than any team, including his own New England Patriots. He has also been named the game's MVP out of five of them, and is also the oldest quarterback to win both.

Meanwhile, Steph Curry is the most influential shooter in NBA history. Three-point shooting has been a vital part of the NBA offense since the 1990s; but Curry, alongside his fellow Warriors, has turned it into a record-breaking art that has translated to 4 NBA titles, back-to-back MVP awards (including the first-ever unanumous selection) and a Finals MVP.

So, what do the NFL's greatest quarterbacks and the NBA's most prolific three-point shooter have in common? They both wear and endorse Under Armour. But who is the bigger endorser? Let's find out.

Tom Brady began endorsing Under Armour in 2010, and since then has become one of the brand's foremost spokespersons. As a stockholder, when he linked up with the company, Brady massively increased his value. By 2015, it had reached 800% of what it once was. And while Brady has launched his own apparel line, his deal with Under Armour, specifically its shoes, is still there.

Steph Curry, meanwhile, may be Under Armour's most prominent ambassador worldwide, given the NBA's global reach. He first became an Under Armour endorser for $4 million dollars in 2013 and two years later, received a nine-year extension and equity. His latest deal, which was announced just this Thursday (US time), makes him a lifetime endorser, meaning he will continue promoting the company even after retirement.

Who has been the bigger endorser - Tom Brady or Steph Curry?

While Brady was the first major athlete to endorse Under Armour, the brand did not truly take off until Curry's success. While other endorsers like Jordan Spieth and Andy Murray have come and gone, Curry, as he continues racking up wins, titles, and accolades, has evolved into the global face of the brand (even receiving his own eponymous sub-brand), and with Brady no longer playing and instead entering the broadcasting booth, he may retain that role even after he himself stops playing.

So, when looking at the global impact, yes, Curry has the edge by a wide margin. He is, without question, the biggest success story Under Armour has ever had.
