The Las Vegas Raiders are one of the teams that will try to enter the 2025 NFL season with renewed hope to compete for at least making the playoffs. Following a disappointing 4-13 season with Antonio Pierce, the organization parted ways with the head coach. And on Thursday, Tom Telesco was fired too after only one season as the team's general manager.

The Raiders could put themselves in a good position to succeed this offseason, but it will depend heavily on who takes over from Telesco.

The Raiders were linked with some intriguing names last year, including Adam Peters, who ultimately landed in Washington, Ed Dodds of the Indianapolis Colts, and more.

With a new general manager opening, these are three options the AFC West team could consider to lead the franchise.

3 best options for Las Vegas Raiders' GM position

1. Mike Borgonzi

Mike Borgonzi has been a valuable member of the Kansas City Chiefs organization for 16 years now. He's part of one of the model franchises the NFL has and his experience can help this squad.

The Chiefs have won three championships with Borgonzi in the front office and are aiming for a third consecutive this year. More than that, they have gone to five straight conference championship games. If Mark Davis and Co. want to build a winning team, they should not look further than their division.

2. Louis Riddick

This would be a non-traditional hire by the Raiders, but this franchise has been known for thinking and acting outside the box. The ESPN analyst is available for teams, as he even interviewed with the New York Jets, another struggling AFC team looking for a new general manager.

Some fans even urged the organization to bring both Riddick and Deion Sanders to kickstart a new era, but a lot of things must happen to see these two working together at Allegiant Stadium.

3. Mike Greenberg

Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant GM Mike Greenberg's work was more focused on the cap side, but that's exactly what allowed the team to land one of the hottest free agents the league has seen in recent years, Tom Brady, in 2020.

His relationship with the team's part-time owner could help his case if the AFC squad decides to give him a chance at their vacancy. Greenberg appears to be the likeliest option of these three, as his knowledge could put Las Vegas in a good position to pursue free agents and have the chance to easily renew their project if things don't go that well.
