Mock Draft: Chicago Bears
Less than a season after having a pair of top-10 selections, the Chicago Bears are in the market for a new head coach. The franchise must bring in an offensive-minded head coach as well as a good quarterbacks coach to develop Caleb Williams. They’ll also have to build around the former first pick of the draft and protect him. Once again, Chicago will be selecting early in each round but also boasts an additional selection in the second round.
Round 1: Will Campbell/T/LSU - Campbell is my No. 1 tackle prospect and No. 11 on the overall board. He’s an athletic left tackle who stands out in pass protection. Keep an eye out for arm length in the lead-up to the draft, as many will talk about guard being Campbell’s natural spot. Contingency Plan: Kelvin Banks Jr./T/Texas
Round 2: Shemar Turner/DL/Texas A&M - Turner is developing into a dominant defender who would be a natural fit in the Bears’ four-man line. He could line up at tackle or even defensive end when they go to a three-man front.

Round 3: Kaleb Johnson/RB/Iowa - Johnson is an explosive back with breakaway speed and the ability to create yardage. He’s also a solid pass catcher out of the backfield.
Round 4: Donovan Ezeiruaku/Edge/Boston College - I prefer Ezeiruaku standing over tackle, but he is a tremendous pass rusher.
Round 5: Drew Kendall/C/Boston College
Mock Draft: Detroit Lions
The Lions will be selecting deep in the rounds, and if things turn out as they hope, will own the 32nd selection. The team does not have many holes and will look to add a few last pieces.
Round 1: Nic Scourton/Edge/Texas A&M - There were rumors the Lions were going to take an edge rusher in the first round last year. The injury to Aidan Hutchinson makes that very likely to happen next April. Scourton is a good fit rushing the passer in a four-man line. Contingency Plan: Kenneth Grant/DT/Michigan
Round 2: Jaeden Roberts/G/Alabama - A large, powerful blocker with terrific football intelligence who would be a natural fit for Detroit’s offensive line.
Round 3: Bru McCoy/WR/Tennessee - McCoy comes off a disappointing season, yet he will be great value for the team able to revert him to prior form.
Mock Draft: Green Bay Packers
The Packers look to be in good shape moving forward. Already securing a spot in the playoffs, the team heads towards free agency well under the salary cap and could fill a few needs before the draft even gets here.
Round 1: Benjamin Morrison/CB/Notre Dame - The Packers are forever looking for secondary help through the draft, and the late-season injury to Jaire Alexander makes cornerback a natural pick in the first round. Morrison must prove he’s healthy from the early-season hip injury that forced him to the sidelines, but he has a lot of ability. Contingency Plan: Shavon Revel/CB/East Carolina
Round 2: JT Tuimoloau/Edge/Ohio State - Tuimoloau could end up being a top-45 pick, but his streakiness and inconsistency is a red flag. If he lands in the bottom half of Round 2, it would be a home-run pick for the Packers.
Round 3: Tai Felton/WR/Maryland - Felton is consistent, sized well and has big-play ability.
Round 4: Yahya Black/DT/Iowa - Black has awesome upside potential and has been a playmaker yet needs to complete his game.
Round 5: Phil Mafah/RB/Clemson
Mock Draft: Minnesota Vikings
One of the most interesting offseason storylines will focus on Sam Darnold, the former early first-round pick of the Jets coming off a career season. Can the Vikings pony up the huge contract Darnold will demand and bring him back? Or will they rely on the coaching genius of Kevin O’Connell and roll the dice with J.J. McCarthy, their first-round pick from last year?
Round 1: Tyleik Williams/DL/Ohio State - Williams has been the best player on a very good Ohio State defensive line. He was solid all season long and has dominated during the playoffs. Contingency Plan: Deone Walker
Round 2: Billy Bowman Jr./S/Oklahoma - Bowman comes off a disappointing campaign and his draft stock has slid, yet he’s a tough, versatile safety who can line up in a variety of schemes.
Round 3: Nohl Williams/CB/California
Round 4: Corey Kiner/RB/Cincinnati
