Texas Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian could be leaving college and going to the NFL soon. According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Longhorns coach is expected to receive interest from NFL teams after the college football season ends.

“I expect some teams to call and inquire about the Texas head coach, Steve Sarkisian, who’s dram some interest from the NFL level,” Schefter said during a segment about coaching changes, via A to Z Sports.

Sarkisian has been the Longhorns coach since 2021 and has gone 38-16, including back-to-back college football playoff appearances. He also served as the Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator in 2017 and 2018.

With Sarkisian linked to the NFL, there are a couple of teams that would make sense for the college football head coach.
