When their team comes out on top, quarterbacks usually receive all the praise, especially when they have thrown for a lot of yards and touchdowns. But occasionally, their passes fall into the hands of the opponent, which comes at the detriment of the team.
There aren't many things more discouraging than seeing your favorite quarterback, especially during a playoff game, throw an interception.
The players listed below have thrown the most picks during the postseason; although many of them have had successful careers, these were not part of their favorite moments.

Terry Bradshaw played his best football during the playoffs, even though he was only marginally better than average in the regular season throughout his career. He was a two-time Super Bowl MVP and won four championships.
Bradshaw owned the record for the most consecutive postseason outings with 2+ touchdown passes, with seven, at the time of his retirement. However, he also held the record for the most interceptions thrown, with 26.
Bradshaw had 30 touchdown passes and an overall 14-5 postseason record in his career.
#4 - Ben Roethlisberger (28 INTs)
Ben Roethlisberger spent 18 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers before retiring from the NFL after the 2021 season. He was fifth all-time in NFL career passing yards and eighth all-time in touchdowns at the time he retired.
He threw four interceptions in his final playoff game, which had a significant impact on the Steelers' shocking 48-37 loss to the Cleveland Browns in the wild-card round. He tied Jim Kelly's 28 INTs to become the quarterback with the joint third-most interceptions thrown in the postseason with those four picks.
In 23 postseason games over his career, Ben Roethlisberger amassed 5,972 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, and 28 interceptions. He led the Steelers to two Super Bowl victories.
#3 - Jim Kelly (28 INTs)
Jim Kelly is one of the best quarterbacks the league has ever seen, concluding his career with 35,467 yards, 237 scores, and 175 INTs in 160 games.
Beyond his stats, Kelly was instrumental in leading the Buffalo Bills to four consecutive Super Bowls, an unprecedented accomplishment for any team.
During his career, Kelly passed for 3,863 yards and 21 touchdowns in 17 playoff games for the Bills. But he also threw 28 interceptions, tied for the third-most in NFL history.
#2 - Brett Favre (30 INTs)
In his 16 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, Brett Favre guided the team to 11 postseason appearances, two straight Super Bowl trips, four NFC Championship Games, and their first Super Bowl victory in almost thirty years.
At the time of his retirement, Favre led the NFL in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and quarterback victories, but he also set the league record for interceptions.
Favre remains the only NFL quarterback to ever record overtime picks in two different postseason games. He ended his career with 30 interceptions during the NFL playoffs, with 18 of those coming in his last nine postseason appearances.

Throughout his career, Tom Brady started 48 postseason games, finishing 35-13, with an incredible .729 win percentage.
Brady also won a record seven Super Bowls, but the guess is you already knew that. What you probably didn't know is that the all-time great quarterback also holds the record for the most interceptions thrown in postseason games, with 40.
Brady passed for 13,400 yards, 40 interceptions, and 88 touchdowns in his playoff career.
