NFL Draft 2023: Top RAS scores of Prospects by position

The NFL Draft 2023 signals that teams are gearing up for yet another NFL season. Every team looks forward to selecting the best player as per their needs during the NFL Draft. With a plethora of college talents looking to prove themselves, the NFL Combine presents teams with the opportunity to assess which player will be the best pick for their team.

In order to uncover the league's future superstar players, NFL scouts, analysts, and draftniks conduct extensive research on prospects. While only a small component of the selection process for foundational players, drills and athletic testing is quite important.

The Relative Athletic Score (RAS) reduces a prospect's performance at the combine into a single, straightforward statistic. The RAS statistic converts each player's NFL Combine measurements, including height, weight, wingspan, hand size, athleticism, and drill results, into a single value on a scale of 0 to 10 (highest to lowest). To ensure that positions are evaluated fairly against one another, the metric additionally considers position.
