Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. was in and out in Week 4 against the Houston Texans due to a shoulder injury sustained early in the game. He was labeled as questionable to continue in the game after sustaining the injury, but he eventually came back and played in good condition.
Regarding his injury after the game, the star running back said:
"It's good, just football, just football. We signed up for this, but sometimes we just got to play through a little something.”
Even though Etienne and coach Doug Pederson expressed confidence following the game that the running back is fine, fantasy managers should perhaps still monitor the team's injury report this week to see how the RB is doing ahead of Week 5.

On his part, when asked about the running back's injury, Pederson said in his Monday press conference:
"Etienne shoulder, he'll be fine."
Given that Etienne rejoined the game against the Texans after first leaving with a shoulder injury, it appears he won't have any problems going ahead. If Etienne were to miss time due to an injury in the future, Tank Bigsby might be valuable to fantasy managers.
With the Jaguars still without a win after four games this season, Week 5 will bring Etienne and his teammates more challenges when they face the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon at Everbank Stadium.
Travis Etienne injury update: What happened to the Jaguars' RB?
Travis Etienne sustained a shoulder injury early in the Week 4 game against the Houston Texans, and the Jacksonville Jaguars declared him questionable to return. It doesn't seem like the injury is serious, though, as the RB was able to return to the game. However, he saw relatively limited action for the remainder of the game.
Having said that, Etienne is one of the key members of the Jaguars' offense, so his health will be watched closely during the week.
Etienne participated in 52% of the offensive plays for the Jaguars against the Texans. He had 11 rushes for 50 yards and one catch for 10 receiving yards. Etienne had the most snaps among the Jags’ backfielders in that game, even though the 52% snap he received was significantly his lowest of the season.
Tank Bigsby will get more workload if Travis Etienne is forced to miss any games going ahead, even though it's unlikely that the shoulder injury he sustained in Week 4 would prevent him from playing.
