Travis Kelce, born on October 5, 1989, is an American professional football player for the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL. He was born in Westlake, Ohio. He plays the position of a tight end and has come to be known as one of the best tight ends in NFL history.

Travis Kelce attended high school at Cleveland Heights where he played football and basketball. He later committed to play football alongside his brother at the University of Cincinnati. In his last year at the University of Cincinnati, Kelce won the College Football Performance Awards Tight End of the Year.

In 2013, Kelce was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs as the 63rd pick in the 3rd round of the NFL draft. His career saw an upward curve over the years resulting in Kelce shattering records and winning multiple honours, on his way to being recognized as one of the greats in the game.

Kelce is a 9-time Pro Bowler with 4 First-Team All-Pro selections. He has been named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team and has won two Super Bowl rings. He holds the record for most consecutive and overall seasons with 1000 receiving yards by a tight end and most receiving yards by a tight end in a single season. He is the fastest tight end to have reached 10,000 receiving yards.

Kelce won the 2022 and 2023 NFL Super Bowl games and was crucial in the Chiefs’ victories. Coming back in 2024 with Patrick Mahomes and some upgrades to the Chiefs’ roster, Kelce and the team would look to 3-peat.
