Trent Williams

Trent Williams of the San Francisco 49ers is one of the best offensive tackles in the game today if not all time. After a solid career at the University of Oklahoma, where he made two first-team All-Big 12 while also being named a consensus All-American with insane numbers alongside, he was viewed as one of the best offensive tackles available in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Williams had a slow start during his first two seasons with the Washington Commanders, after being selected 4th overall. Williams came into his own in the 2012 season, earning his first Pro Bowl selection. However, an injury the previous night forced him to miss the game. But, that began a long-standing tradition. He has made a total of 11 Pro Bowls since then alongside a Second-team All-Pro appearance during the 2015 campaign. However, a lack of postseason success, alongside contract and personal disputes forced him to miss the 2019 season, and he was eventually traded to the San Francisco 49ers.

Since joining San Francisco, Williams has taken his game to another level. Rattling off three straight First-Team All-Pro selections, alongside his usual Pro Bowl selection, he has become a dominant force at the offensive tackle, and arguably the best player on a loaded 49ers team.

How many Super Bowls has Trent Williams won?

Trent Williams has not won a Super Bowl yet. He made his first Super Bowl appearance at Super Bowl LVIII (58) against the Kansas City Chiefs, as the final game of the 2023-24 NFL Season, after defeating the Detroit Lions in the 2023 NFC Championship Game, 34-31.

Before 2023, his best finish came in 2022 when the San Francisco 49ers lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in a rout 31-7, thanks to injuries to all 3 quarterbacks on their rotation. During his time in Washington, Williams did not reach beyond the Divisional Round.

Twice during his 10-year-long stint with the Washington Redskins, and each year of his time with the San Francisco 49ers (2020-present). His first go-around came in 2012 when the Redskins lost to the Seattle Seahawks. However, Williams was in fine form, not giving up a single tackle. They made the playoffs again in 2015 but lost against the Green Bay Packers.

However, since coming over to the 49ers, the story has been entirely different. After making it to three consecutive NFC Championship Games, Williams’ track record remains unblemished, further cementing him as one of the best tackles in the game and the league.
