Trevon De'Sean Diggs is an American football cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys as of the 2024 NFL season. The Cowboys selected him with the 51st overall pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. On July 25, 2023, he signed a five-year, $97 million contract extension with the team. According to Pro Football Reference, he has recorded a total of 204 tackles, 1.0 sacks, 20 interceptions and 204 yards as of Week 10 in the 2024 NFL season.

Before coming into the NFL, Trevon Diggs played college football with the Alabama Crimson Tide football team at the University of Alabama. In his freshman year in 2016, he became a return specialist and finished the season with one forced fumble, and 5 tackles as per Sports Reference. In his sophomore year in 2017, he switched from a return specialist to a cornerback and started out the season opener game against Florida State where he recorded six tackles. In his junior year in 2018, he started and played only six games in the whole season because of a foot injury where he finished the following season with 20 tackles and an interception. He attended Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland, before transferring to The Avalon School in Wheaton, Maryland.

Trevon has played for the Dallas Cowboys as a cornerback in the NFL since the beginning of his NFL career. Diggs's professional career began in the year 2020 when he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the NFL draft of 2020. After joining with the Dallas Cowboys Diggs was named the starting cornerback in the team. He recorded his first career sack against the Cleveland Browns in Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season. In week 9, a foot fracture put him on the injured reserve list until the end of December. Diggs recorded 58 tackles, 3 interceptions, 14 passes defended, one sack, and one forced fumble(according to Pro Football Reference).

In the 2021 season, Trevon Diggs was named as the starter at left cornerback. As a result of the Cowboy's victory over the Eagles, he was awarded the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for September. He also tied the Cowboys single-season record for interceptions and he finished his second season in the NFL with 11 interceptions, 56 tackles, and 21 passes defended. Diggs recorded a career-high 59 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 1 fumble recovery as the Cowboys finished 12–5, earning him Pro Bowl honors for the 2022 season.

On July 25, 2023, Diggs signed a five-year, $97 million contract extension with the Cowboys. In September 2023, he tore his ACL during practice and was ruled out for the rest of the season.
