Trevor Lawrence has 1 win and 1 loss in his postseason career as of November 2024.
William Trevor Lawrence, commonly known as Trevor Lawrence is an American football quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars as of 2024. The 6-foot-6 signal caller, often dubbed a generational player since high school, is a Knoxville, Tennessee native. However, he did his schooling in Cartersville, Georgia, where he played for the Purple Hurricanes and led the team to 41 straight victories en route to winning two state championships. After breaking Georgia state records, previously held by Deshaun Watson, 2020 ACC Player of the Year took his talents to ACC Conference, where he played for Clemson Tigers from 2018-2020. The two-time First-team All-ACC honoree won a national college championship in his true freshman season. The first overall pick from the 2021 NFL draft led Clemson to the playoffs in each of his three years with the Tigers.
The 25-year-old’s (as of November 2024) journey in the NFL did not start as smoothly as anticipated after the team finished with an abysmal 3-14 record in his rookie year on the back of the Urban Meyer disaster. However, his sophomore campaign saw a complete 360-degree turnaround with the arrival of Doug Pederson, as the Jaguars not only added 6 more games into the win column from last year but also won the AFC South for the first time since 2017. Lawrence and the team started their 2023 campaign from where they left off in the previous year by starting the season 8-3 but went on to lose the next five out of six games. However, worse was yet to come as Trevor and Jacksonville are 2-9 through the first 12 weeks into the 2024 NFL season. Lawrence has two 4k passing yards seasons under his belt as of November 2024.
