Trey McBride is an American football tight end for the Arizona Cardinals as of the 2024 NFL season. The Cardinals selected him with the 55th overall pick in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Throughout his rookie season, he appeared in 16 games, starting in 13 of them. McBride managed to catch 29 passes for a total of 265 yards scoring one touchdown. In the year during the 2023 NFL season, he achieved a milestone by becoming the first Cardinals tight end since 1989 to surpass 100 receiving yards in a single game showcasing his growing dominance on the field.

During his time at Colorado State University McBride had a college career where he received recognition as an All-American and was honored with the John Mackey Award in 2021. His outstanding performance led to him being included in all five American teams marking him as the first unanimous All-American player in the school's history. McBride also shone during his high school years at Fort Morgan High School in Colorado. In his junior year of school, he caught 32 passes for 751 yards and scored 11 touchdowns in football earning recognition as part of the Class 3A All-Colorado team.
