Troy Aikman is a former NFL player who played in the league for 12 seasons before retiring. He announced his retirement on April 9th, 2001, after failing to find another team. Troy spent his entire career with the Dallas Cowboys and is also a hall of famer. He won three Super-Bowls with the Cowboys and is the all-time leading passer (32,942 yards). 90 of his 94 career wins were in the 1990s and were the most by any quarterback in any decade until Peyton Manning surpassed him in the 2000s with 115 wins. Presently, Aikman is third on that list, also trailing Tom Brady (122 in the 2010s).

Currently Troy Aikman is in sports media through ESPN. He had previously signed a 5 year deal worth $90 million dollars. Troy was with FOXSports earlier but he decided to change routes and join their rivals.

Troy Aikman is 56 years old as of today, July 21, 2023. He was born on November 21, 1966, in West Covina, California. He was the youngest of three children born to Ken and Charlyn Aikman. Ken was an oil-field worker and rancher, and Charlyn was a homemaker.

Troy had many challenges growing up, including growing up with flat feet. Troy wore casts and orthopedic shoes until he was fourteen months old to help him with it. Another issue of his was his learning disability that made it difficult for him to read and write.

Aikman did not have an easy childhood but his hardwork and perseverance made him the man he is today.
