Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill popped up on the injury report ahead of the team's Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday. Hill was noted with a wrist injury, and he did not practice on Friday.
He's not having the best season of his career, with Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffering an injury in Week 2 that derailed the team's plans for the season. Miami had to start Skylar Thompson and Tyler Huntley at different points of the season, and they had awful games - Huntley even had a performance with under 100 passing yards.
At this point, it's unclear if he'll be present in Los Angeles for the game against the Rams. The Dolphins have not released a game status yet, as they will play on Monday. The wide receiver was not present on the injury report on Wednesday.

Tyreek Hill Stats in the 2024 season
With eight games under his belt, the receiver has 36 catches, 446 yards and just one touchdown. His best game happened in Week 1, before Tua's injury and with the season just starting. His 130 yards and a touchdown from Week 1 are his season highs.
Perhaps the more striking comparison to make is with his previous season. He had stated that reaching the 2,000-yard mark was his goal. The record for any wide receiver is 1,964 by Calvin Johnson in 2012 for the Detroit Lions. He came close, but an injury late in the year left him with "just" 1,799.
After eight games in the 2023 season, Hill had 61 receptions, 1,014 yards and eight touchdowns, much more than this year. Surely playing with his starter quarterback for the entire year helped, but the confidence and the team as a whole were much better.
After eight games in 2023, the Miami Dolphins had a 6-2 record. After eight games in 2024, the Miami Dolphins have a 2-6 record. They have lost three straight games, and with the Buffalo Bills leading the division with a 7-2 record, making the playoffs will be extremely unlikely in January.
