Week 17 arrived in the NFL. For Tyreek Hill, there's still a path to the playoffs, while for Keenan Allen and Garrett Wilson, the road is already closed. However, all three receivers can still play a huge part in fantasy football, as championship week is here for the majority of the leagues.
Is Tyreek Hill a good pick in Week 17?
Throughout the season, Hill was directly competing with Christian McCaffrey for the biggest fantasy football disappointment of 2024 - but since he wasn't injured, he's a bigger candidate. However, there are reasons to believe that he can dominate against the Cleveland Browns.
He has had just 65 receiving yards over the past two games, but he also has had 28 targets over the past three. The volume is there: it just hasn't worked out in the previous two games. But the chances are coming, and we know his quality. The Dolphins are still playing meaningful football, and the Browns' passing defense isn't good, with just four interceptions in 2024.

Is Keenan Allen a good pick in Week 17?
He's coming from a great game (9 receptions, 141 yards, TD) in Week 16, but Allen is unlikely to repeat this feature. Seattle's defense has improved a lot in the second half of the season, and just like in Miami, they are still fighting hard for a playoff spot.
The Seahawks don't really allow a huge number of passing yards to their opponents and they will try to run the ball a lot against Chicago's front. For this reason, the volume of the past two games (28 targets) is unlikely to be repeated, making Hill a better option.
Is Garrett Wilson a good pick in Week 17?
Just like in Allen's case, you should naturally be wary of Wilson because his team is already eliminated. The Bills' defense is average in pass defense (22 touchdowns allowed) but they force a lot of turnovers, with 14 interceptions. The Jets know that passing the ball with huge volume isn't the key to winning.
There's also the fact that Wilson himself isn't loaded with volume. He has had just 13 targets over the past two games, while public complaining on the sidelines about his role. Davante Adams overtook him as WR1 in New York.
Whom should I start between Tyreek Hill, Keenan Allen and Garrett Wilson in Week 17?
As expected, our Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer projects Hill with the best fantasy football option for Week 17 with some distance. The superstar wide receiver isn't playing at his best this season, but he's still favored against the other two options.
