The Vikings logo is one of the most recognizable ones for NFL fans as the franchise has been around since the 1960s. However, one fan decided to put a spin on the longstanding team logo.

TikTok account Emily Morgan Creates took the letters M and V to construct the bottom and some re-designed horns at the top for the logo.

Upon seeing the new logo, many Minnesota fans didn't agree with her choice of the new design. Some went as far as to tweet that it was garbage and impacted their soul negatively:

However, some fans do love the re-imagined logo for the Minnesota Vikings:

The team's logo was created at the start of 1960s and has been redesigned just twice, keeping the core theme and color scheme of the original version mostly untouched. Minnesota modernized the logo in 2013, with the shape of the logo somewhat changed and cleaned.

The head and horn became a bit smaller while the hair and bottom line of the image was a little stretched horizontally. It made the logo look more dynamic and gave a sense of change and enthusiasm to the franchise's visual recognition.

In 1961, the first logo for the team was introduced and had a white and yellow portrait of a Viking in profile. The man with yellow hair and helmet was facing left and had its face with an enlarged moustache in white.

The team took a major step last season under new head coach Kevin O'Connell, winning the NFC North for the first time since the 2017 season. Minnesota came up short in the Wild Card Round, losing to the New York Giants.

This offseason for the Vikings has been clouded by rumors of replacing quarterback Kirk Cousins and re-signing star wide receiver Justin Jefferson. There have also been multiple reports that the team could be looking to move Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook.

Nonetheless, the Minnesota Vikings are looking to make back-to-back playoff appearances for the first time since the 2008 and 2009 seasons.
