Week 8 of the 2024 fantasy football season kicks off with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams. Both teams feature plenty of options for fantasy lineups this week, but not all of them should be started. Here are the best ones to target and fade.
Vikings vs Rams Fantasy Football Week 8 Start 'Em picks
The Los Angeles Rams' offense has severely struggled during the 2024 fantasy football season so far, especially their passing game. They are expected to get a major boost this week with Cooper Kupp in line to make his return to the lineup. He suffered an ankle injury in just the second game of the season and hasn't played since, but he doesn't have an injury designation for this contest.

Kupp must immediately be plugged back into all fantasy lineups as he should be as busy as he usually is. In his one completed game this season, he totaled a massive 14 receptions on 21 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown on his way to a weekly WR2 finish.
Aaron Jones is another strong player to target in Week 8 fantasy football lineups amid his strong first season with the Minnesota Vikings. He currently ranks as the overall RB13 this year and has finished as the RB16 or better in four of his six games. He also gets a favorable matchup against the Rams, who are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season.

Vikings vs Rams Fantasy Football Week 8 Sit 'Em picks
In the absence of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, the rest of the Rams' wide receivers have stepped up to provide relevant value in fantasy football. Tutu Atwell and Demarcus Robinson have been among the biggest beneficiaries, but they must be avoided in Week 8 lineups. With Kupp returning and Nacua questionable, they can no longer be trusted as starters.
Ty Chandler is another player to fade this week as he has been extremely disappointing with the Vikings this season. He was projected to share the backfield workload with Aaron Jones this year, but has exceeded 10 carries just once in six games and currently ranks as the overall RB60 entering Week 8.

- Blake Corum
- Tutu Atwell
- Demarcus Robinson
- Jalen Nailor
