Waiver Wire Week 17 of 2024 Fantasy Football can do wonders if managers make the right decision. The second last week of the season is upon us, and plenty of managers will try to get closer or secure a championship in one of the million leagues worldwide. At this point in the season, it's impossible to make trades, meaning that the waivers take a bigger role if a team wants to bolster its ranks.
Wide receivers are always crucial for a fantasy team's success, and if you are serious about challenging for a championship, adding the right pieces on the waiver wire, even this late in the season, can go a long way.

Some players had to wait to find their rhythm and spot within the league, but now are looking like dangerous options on the waiver wire.

Fantasy Football Week 17 Waiver Wire WRs
Jalen McMillan
Although he had a rough start to his NFL career, Jalen McMillan has found his spot within the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense, especially after Chris Godwin went down with a season-ending injury. As the playoffs arrive in several fantasy leagues, McMillan could be a terrific addition.
The rookie wide receiver has caught four touchdowns in the last three games, averaging 19 fantasy points per game.
Rashod Bateman
Rashod Bateman isn't the No. 1 option for the Baltimore Ravens, but he's become a solid contributor, especially in the red zone. The veteran is in a similar spot to McMillan's in recent games, scoring in four of his six catches. Going against the Texans' struggling secondary would put him in a privileged position to shine.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine isn't a player who will put numbers on the stat sheet, but like the two players named before him, he's become a touchdown machine in recent weeks. Despite clocking in 45 receiving yards in the last three games, he's scored nine touchdowns in 11. He'll go against a poor Jacksonville defense that could allow him to feast and perhaps add more yards to his record.
