Wan'Dale Robinson is one of many anonymous wide receivers in the New York Giants roster. In a team that's still looking for its offensive identity post-Saquon Barkley, Robinson is trying his best to become one of the cornerstones of the franchise.

However, the current situation is not helping him. Malik Nabers has seemingly surpassed him and everyone else in the depth chart, thanks to his domanating potential, while the offense still struggles to find touchdowns. Can Robinson still be considered a sleeper pickup for a waiver wire after that?

Across four games, Wan'Dale Robinson has had 26 catches for 192 yards and a touchdown - all in an off-the-bench role.

On paper, that should look impressive; but you look at Malik Nabers' stats: 35 receptions for 386 yards and three touchdowns. And the Giants' next game is not one that will inspire confidence among fantasy players.

The Seattle Seahawks, even after an overhaul that saw them ditch longtime coasch Pete Carroll for Mike MacDonald and key defensive players like Bobby Wagner and safeties Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs, still boast a strong defense that could pose problems for Daniel Jones.

Anchored by defensive end Leonard Williams, the trenches could open up pass-rushing opportunities for Boye Mafe, who has established himself as a burgeoning sack machine.

Even if the pass happens, there's the secondary, which boasts Pro Bowlers Riq Woolen, Devon Witherspoon and Julian Love, as well Rayshawn Jenkins and Julian Love, who can shut down wide receivers. They are a primary reason why the Seahawks lead the NFC West, even after a loss at the Detroit Lions.

That doesn't bode well for Robinson, who, as mentioned before is not exactly one of the more prolific wide receivers around. A possible expectation is that Daboll will overfeed Nabers in hopes that the secondary will get complacent, allowing a surprise opportunity for the other wideouts, or hand off repeatedly to Devin Singletary and hope that he can overcome the liikes of Williams and Jonathan Hankins in the trenches.

However, one spins it, though, Wan'dale Robinson is not someone who shouldn't be trusted in a waiver wire, especially against one of the most talented secondaries in the league.
