Washington Commanders vs. Chicago Bears game recap
Despite having two inspired teams with entertaining offense, the Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears had a discreet first half. The home team got a nine-point advantage thanks to three field goals by Austin Seibert.
First, he opened the scoreboard with a 27-yard field goal with 8:51 on the clock in the first quarter.
As the first quarter clock was running out of time (1:04), he added three more points with a 30-yard field goal.

Then, with 5:24 on the clock in the second quarter, Seibert made a 28-yard field goal to extend the lead to 9-0. This game was expected to be more entertaining on offense, but its start was dominated by defenses.
Austin Seibert continued his good performance with another field goal. With 5:48 on the clock in the third quarter, he hit a 47-yard kick to give the Commanders a 12-0 lead. Chicago scored the first touchdown of the game after D'Andre Swift completed a 56-yard run to cut the lead to five points after Cairo Santos converted the extra point.

Austin Seibert missed his fifth field goal attempt (51 yards) to start the fourth quarter and give hopes to the Bears. Chicago took the lead of the game with a Roschon Johnson one-yard touchdown. Caleb Williams connected with Cole Kmet to take the 15-12 lead with 0:23 on the clock.
Jayden Daniels confirmed that he's still a threat in the league and connected with Noah Brown for 52 yards and the game-winning touchdown just when everything suggested the Bears would leave Washington with the victory.
