Washington Commanders vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Box score, player stats, and game summay feat. Jayden Daniels, Baker Mayfield
The Washington Commanders began their Jayden Daniels/Dan Quinn/Adam Peters era with a 20-37 loss at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Four and a half months since, they entered the Wild Card rematch a wholly different team.

They had won plenty of games - eleven to be exact - and displayed a vastly different level of play from the days of much-maligned previous owner Dan Snyder. Now they had a chance to avenge their initial defeat and win a playoff game for the first time since 2005.
Baker Mayfield and company, meanwhile, were out to prove that their surprise 2023 run to the Divisional Round was no fluke. Armed with a 10-7 record, they were hoping to make it that far for the second straight time since Tom Brady's retirement and fourth in five seasons.
