Kenny Golladay signed with the New York Giants for four years and $72 million in 2021. Since then, it's proven to be one of the worst contracts in recent memory. He hasn't scored a touchdown in his Giants career and this season, he entered Week 11 without a single catch since the opening game.
He'd only seen eight targets all year, showcasing just how far the wide receiver had fallen. On Sunday, when he finally recorded a reception for the 7-2 Giants, the crowd went wild.
It's been a very rough go for Golladay, so while it is nice that he finally got into the stat column with a catch, it had to be painful to hear the ironic cheering.

They have struggled to find any production at wide receiver and it's hard to find anyone more at fault than their prized offseason acquisition from 2021. Coming off a stellar run in Detroit, it has been shocking to see how unimpactful the wide receiver has been.
Will the Giants replace Kenny Golladay?
The Giants will always have a tough time trading Golladay away, as evidenced by their lack of ability to do so thus far. His contract is far too high and his production is far too low.
However, that doesn't rule out being replaced in another way. The Giants are reportedly very serious about a potential Odell Beckham Jr. reunion. He's expected to meet with the team very soon and they are reportedly one of two genuine potential locations for the wide receiver.
They've performed well, to the tune of a second-place 7-2 record, just one game behind the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East.
However, they've done so with a bit of a lackluster passing offense, so upgrading from the struggling wideout to Beckham would make a huge difference.
The Giants currently trail the Lions 17-6 in what would be a stunning upset. Golladay's lone catch went for 15 yards. They'll need all the passing production they can get in order to pull off a comeback.
