WATCH: Time-lapse of Mercedes-Benz Stadium being flipped overnight for Falcons-Cardinals game after Peach Bowl is stunning

Mercedes-Benz Stadium went through quite the transformation overnight to prepare for the Atlanta Falcons game on Sunday.

The Atlanta Falcons will host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon, however, the route to get ready for today's game was quite tedious. On Saturday night, Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosted the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, a College Football Playoff game between the University of Georgia Bulldogs and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The back-and-forth matchup came to an end as the Ohio State Buckeyes attempted a 50 yard field goal just as the clock struck midnight into 2023. Confetti poured onto the field as the Bulldogs won their way into the National Championship.

But as the celebrations continued, the crew behind the scenes were already preparing the stadium for Sunday's NFL game.

Front Office Sports posted a time lapse of Mercedes-Benz Stadium's transformation as the field went from college football madness to NFL ready. Fans can be seen filling into the stadium and then celebrating on the field, before suddenly the stadium empties.

The field was then repainted and lined for the home team Atlanta Falcons. End zones and midfield logos can be seen in the time lapse along with sponsorships and logos being replaced on the sidlelines. The work that the crew is seen doing is truly incredible as they had less than 12 hours to do so.

This is a quick change that many stadiums around the country experience during this time of year as they host college football games and NFL games in a short period of time.

Can the Atlanta Falcons still make the playoffs?

The NFC South is one of the weakest divisions in the National Football League. All teams have a record under .500 yet, one team will win the division title and host a playoff game in just a few short weeks.

If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon, they would win the NFC South division title and essentially be the only team in the south to make the playoffs.

If the Buccaneers lose to the Panthers at home on Sunday, the division will still be up for grabs. If the Falcons can defeat the Cardinals at home on Sunday and the Bucs lose, there will still be a chance for Atlanta.

Granted, it wouldn't be a good chance, but with the NFC South division winner still only two games ahead of the Falcons with two games remaining, mathematically Atlanta still has a chance.
