Week 13 Fantasy Football QB Rankings feat. Baker Mayfield, Patrick Mahomes, Geno Smith, Jameis Winston

Week 13 of the 2024 fantasy football season features 16 games with all 32 NFL teams in action. Managers will have all available quarterbacks to choose from when setting their starting lineups this week. As usual, they would be wise to analyze their recent performances and weekly matchups before finalizing their starter.

Baker Mayfield is one of the best overall fantasy football QBs to target. He entered his bye week having finished outside the top 15 weekly QBs in two consecutive games and just the third time this season. He bounced back strong coming out of the bye to finish as the weekly QB9 in his most recent game. He has an extremely favorable Week 13 matchup when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Carolina Panthers' weak passing defense.

Patrick Mahomes is another favorable option as he has been on a hot streak for the Kansas City Chiefs. After opening the year by uncharacteristically finishing outside of the top 12 weekly QBs in each of his first seven games, he has now done so in three of his past four outings. This includes finishes of QB2 and QB4 heading into an intriguing matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Geno Smith is the overall QB13 in fantasy football this year, making him a borderline weekly starter. He should only be utilized when playing in matchups that favor a pass-heavy approach for the Seattle Seahawks, but Week 13 is not one of them. The New York Jets are better at defending the pass than the run, so Smith is on the list of fades this week.

Jameis Winston is another popular streaming QB in fantasy football, finishing as the QB10 or better in two of his four starts. He has done so against two of the worst passing defenses in the NFL but finished as the QB18 or worse in his other two starts against solid defenses. He gets a brutal matchup on the road against the Denver Broncos, making the Cleveland Browns QB better off avoided in fantasy football lineups.
