Managers will have a full slate of 32 quarterbacks to choose from in Week 13 of the 2024 fantasy football season. No teams are on a bye week, so all potential options are available. Here are some of the best ones to target and fade based on their recent performances and weekly matchups.

Baker Mayfield got off to a scorching hot start to the 2024 fantasy football season, finishing as the QB7 or better in seven of his first eight games. He finished outside the top 16 quarterbacks in the next two weeks but bounced back to finish as the QB9 in his most recent game. This makes him an excellent target in Week 13 when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Carolina Panthers, one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

He is joined by Sam Darnold, who has finished among the top ten weekly quarterbacks in fantasy football in three of his past four games. He has also totaled eight touchdowns in those three games for the Minnesota Vikings, giving him momentum for a matchup against the Arizona Cardinals this week. He will also be playing at home, where he has finished as the QB13 or better in four of his five games this year.

Fantasy Football Week 13 QBs Sit 'Em picks

Kirk Cousins has been inconsistent during the 2024 fantasy football season and is on his way to being ranked as the overall QB18. His three weekly finishes of QB8 or better for the Atlanta Falcons make him a valuable quarterback option in weeks that he is in a favorable matchup, but Week 13 is not one of them. The Los Angeles Chargers have been one of the best overall defenses this season, making him a fade this week.

The Cleveland Browns have received solid play from Jameis Winston, who has been filling in as their starting quarterback. He has finished among the top ten weekly quarterbacks twice in just four starts this season but draws a brutal matchup in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos' elite defense. He should be avoided in lineups this week, especially considering he will be in a tough environment on the road.
