After defeating the San Francisco 49ers 35-10 on Sunday, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills secured their fifth consecutive AFC East championship and will return to the postseason for the sixth consecutive year.
Buffalo was able to secure the division after the Miami Dolphins' 30-17 loss on Thursday to the Green Bay Packers.

According to the Sportkeeda Playoff Predictor tool, Buffalo will win all five of its remaining games to finish with a 15-2 record. The tool also predicts that the Bills will get an opening-round bye in the playoffs and home advantage throughout after finishing as the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
Miami Dolphins playoff chances
The Denver Broncos, who hold the final slot in the AFC playoff picture, are two and a half games ahead of the Miami Dolphins, who have a 5-7 record.
The Dolphins likely need to win their last five games to qualify for the playoffs. They will also need Denver and Indianapolis Colts to slip up in the last stretch of games.
While that's a possibility, it's a long shot. Sportkeeda's Playoff Predictor also doesn't fancy Miami's chances of making the playoffs. The tool predicts that the Dolphins will end up with a 9-8 record and ultimately miss out on the postseason.
New York Jets playoff chances
The New York Jets' 26-21 loss against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday officially confirmed that they will end the season with a losing record for the ninth consecutive year.
Despite their dismal 3-9 record, the Jets are still not mathematically out of the playoff race. However, they will be if the Indianapolis Colts or the LA Chargers win at least two more games. In addition, if the Jets expect to salvage what little hope they still have left, they will need to win each of their last five games.
Gang Green will end with a 5-12 record and No. 12 in the AFC standings, according to Sportkeeda's Playoff Predictor.
New England Patriots playoff chances
After losing 25-24 to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, the New England Patriots are officially out of the running for the playoffs.
To be fair, they were not expected to be a major playoff candidate at the start of the season. With a 3-10 record heading into their bye week, the front office will likely start evaluating its coaching staff in preparation for the upcoming season.
