Picking the best kicker for fantasy football lineups each week is based on several factors. The most reliable fantasy kickers often have an elite combination of opportunities and efficiency. It's important for them to be playing in an offense that gives them plenty of scoring opportunities, but that can be negated by kickers who don't successfully convert at a high rate.

Using this same philosophy, extremely accurate kickers can lose much of their fantasy value if they are playing in an offense that doesn't put them in enough positions to generate points. This can also be approached by targeting weekly kickers who are facing weak defenses or in games that are projected to be among the highest-scoring matchups of the week.

Another factor when analyzing kickers in fantasy football each week is the stadium that they will be playing in, as well as the weather forecast if it is in an outdoor game. Precipitation and wind will often negatively impact a kicker's value in fantasy football while playing at indoor stadiums is usually the most beneficial atmosphere to their fantasy outlooks.

Brandon Aubrey is one of the best kickers to target in Week 14 when factoring in all of the variables. He ranks as the K3 this year and has been particularly good when playing at the Dallas Cowboys' indoor stadium. He has missed just one kick this season at home, where he will play against the Cincinnati Bengals this week, in a projected high-scoring game.

He is joined by Chris Boswell, who is the overall K1 in the 2024 fantasy football season. The Pittsburgh Steelers usually have one of the most difficult environments for kickers, but Boswell has excelled at home this year, missing just one attempt and it was back in Week 3. He has also converted on 60 of his 63 attempts this season.

On the other end of the spectrum is Younghoe Koo, who has uncharacteristically struggled this year for the Atlanta Falcons. He has been a reliable option in previous seasons, especially considering his indoor stadium being a dome. However, he has already missed eight field goals on just 29 attempts. He will play in another dome against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14, but his inefficiencies make him a fade.
